Federico Giulio Michele and Roberto, four friends from their youth, meet again at the opening of a painting exhibition.The artist is the mother of Alessandro, a friend of theirs who died in an accident seven years earlier.The four of them were with him on the day of the tragedy and have not seen each other since.That same evening they are forcibly taken to a place familiar to them: the mountain cabin where, in that tragic summer, they spent a weekend. They find themselves abandoned, far from everything and isolated by a snowstorm.In that very place in the middle of the mountains where their friend lost his life, someone whose identity they do not know tells them that among them is the person responsible for Alessandro’s death. The only way to save their lives is to discover and make the murderer confess, but who among them could have committed the horrible act?Present and past, summer and winter, are intertwined bringing to light surprising implications, and in the end, a much more complex truth than any of them could have expected.
