The Ferliga’s are an all-male winemaking family, consisting of granpa Attila (Antonio Catania), an old-fashioned head of the household, his younger brother Dante (Lillo Petrolo), a big boy who never grew up, his son Ezio
(Pietro Sermonti), a widower who took up beekeeping, and grandsons Francesco, a dance enthusiast, and Emanuele, the youngest. Also male is the dog, Mimmo. Amid constant bickering and mutual impatience, they all try in vain to straighten out the family business, once famous throughout Italy but now in debt and almost in the hands of banks. With the arrival of Uma (Laura Bilgeri), however, things change. Instead of running away from that asylum, the mysterious girl will decide to help them, leading them to bring out the best in them.
