BLUE
Luce is a young university student from a good family—bright, beautiful, and in love with life, and with Loris, her new boyfriend. Like many teenagers experiencing their first love, she begins to lose sight of her responsibilities.
Loris is a bit of a troublemaker, with a trapper-style attitude. He seems to care about her, even though he’s just dragged her into serious trouble. Luce thought she was going to spend a romantic Friday night with her boyfriend. Instead, she’s facing an urgent problem: Loris has racked up a four-thousand-euro debt for cocaine, and the dealer wants the money by the next morning. If they can’t come up with it, both of them will be in deep trouble.
How can a young girl in love—raised in a world light-years away from this reality—handle such a situation? What can Luce do when Loris begs her to ask her father for the money that could save them? The problem is, she hasn’t spoken to her father for months—precisely because of her relationship with Loris, which he strongly disapproves of.
After unsuccessfully asking all her friends for help and making one last attempt to convince her father, Luce—driven by a mix of resentment and blind love for Loris—reaches out to Vicky. An old acquaintance, sharp and streetwise, Vicky is someone Luce recently ran into again by chance—completely transformed, far more affluent than she remembered from the days when she used to tutor her in literature. She’s the only person Luce knows who might be able to help.
At first, Vicky refuses to lend her the money. Then she has an idea: involve Luce for one night on Blue, the erotic platform where she is known. It might be the solution to raising the money—depending on how far Luce is willing to go. After all, it’s just a game… what could it hurt? Naive and unaware, Luce convinces herself her friend might be right: “It’s just a couple of kisses…”
In reality, stepping into the world of Blue becomes an inescapable erotic cage.
From the moment Luce crosses the threshold of Vicky’s room—her improvised set—events unfold like falling dominoes, each piece of her life collapsing beyond control, like a hamster running endlessly in a wheel.
Luce’s certainties shatter as the excited faces of online users appear on the large projection screen Vicky has set up. The two girls won’t leave that room until dawn—when Luce will have paid off her debt, but at the cost of shattering her life into a thousand pieces.
